In a rustic home in the hills of Janda Baik, we spared a weekend to sign up for a chance to heal some wounds and a space to just get messy.

It was a weekend that pushed us to say goodbye to the stories that no longer served us and an opportunity to feel anew. Just women healing women by their presence.

We gathered for an afternoon to do some inner work to unlearn a defense mechanism we once relied on to keep us safe.

As we found safety in our bodies, we started to return to ourselves. Awareness came back. We began to feel again and we held compassion for the little versions of us who did what they had to do to survive.

But we’re not little anymore. This was our awakening. Now we get to choose trust. We get to choose connection. Now we choose us.

There’s something powerful about female friendships. The kind of healing that happens when women come together is something words can’t fully explain. It’s deep. It’s real and it reminds us that we’re not alone.
