Mindful movement is essential to our retreats. It doesn’t mean you need to sweat it out and get your heart racing, instead your breath, your mind and your body comes in unison.

We’re excited to have @vanessatevi leading our yoga mornings with an understanding of going inward to maximize your experience at our retreat.

Vanessa’s journey inwards began in 2017 at a 10-day Vipassana silent retreat, where she unearthed the profound power of inner stillness, detachment, equanimity, and self-reflection. This transformative experience ignited her passion for yoga, as she realized its ability to harmonize body, mind, and soul perfectly complemented her newfound awareness. Teaching yoga became her avenue for guiding others on their voyage of self-discovery, mirroring her own path of growth and authenticity. Join her in exploring yoga's transformative potential, as we embark on an inward journey towards self-awareness and profound self-love.

This year’s retreat is going to be held in Janda Baik, at a rustic generational home converted to a 10br villa. With eccentric pieces of old furniture and a vast indoor and outdoor space surrounded by streams on either side of the land, you’ll find a safe haven with us here.

A little preview of some of the beautiful nooks and corners where you’ll have a chance to take deep breaths and completely let go. Nature is such a beautiful reminder to the ebbs and flows in life.

Going Inward: When life hits you on so many fronts, it can feel like you’re stuck, overwhelmed or even lost. Our body goes back into the defaults of frustration, irritation and anger. But what happens when you take time out to connect with yourself?

What happens when you take some deep breaths and just be present with who you are, where you are?

How does connecting with your deeper/higher self look like? How can you be centered in a calm state to be at peace with yourself?

Once you’re connected to the deepest part of you, allow the answers come into your awareness. Wait for the insight and knowing to come to you. When you give yourself this space to connect, you give yourself the opportunity to discover your own truth.
